The purpose of the Out Of Freezer(OOF) transactions/functions from the Mobile scanner is to allow extensive tracking of samples outside the freezers.  Some may call this chain of custody.  All of these functions are possible while retaining the original check-in location.

Our Out of Freezer transactions include the following options:

• Measure remaining volume/weight (Tubes)
• Consume volume/weight (Tubes)
• Receive items by location and person (Samples, Boxes of Samples)
• Inventory/Move (Boxes of samples, Boxes, Rack and Freezers)
• Process items (boxes of samples, samples)
• Create Children (Samples)
